Strawberries are a great source of Vitamin C, folate, potassium, fiber and antioxidants to help ward off free radical damage (think skin health ladies!). They are also versatile and can be used in sweet and savory dishes (pair well with chicken or yogurt) and smoothies!
In honor of this timeless and tasty fruit, I'm sharing this smoothie concoction with you that will keep you full and satisfied!
– 1 cup frozen strawberries
– 1/2 medium avocado
-1/2 cup unsweetened coconut yogurt
– 1 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
– 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
– 1/4 tsp cinnamon
– 1 tsp chia seeds
– Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
– If you want a thicker consistency only use 1/2 cup of the coconut milk
