Detoxing Using SuperFoods

Happy 2019!

So you're done with the candy canes, cookies and heavy meals that come along with the holidays and want a fresh start...

Did you know that many parts of your body help you detox? Such as your lungs, kidneys, lymphatic system, intestines and skin! They all play a part in the detoxifying process.

Your body also produces many antioxidants (yes, the body can produce antioxidants) including one of the most potent, glutathione, to help these organs remove bacteria, viruses, microbes and everything else that doesn't belong in your blood.

You can boost your body's glutathione production by consuming foods high in the amino acid, cysteine which can be found in meat and cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, kale radish, turnip, arugula).
