As entrepreneurs, we are prone to getting hyper stressed which can lead to burnout.
It is your responsibility to show up for yourself just as much as you do for your clients. If you are lacking something internally, it will eventually reflect in your business.
Here are my top 3 strategies for "getting back to basics" while still being able to focus on your biz ...
1. Read a book. And not just any book. Choose one that addresses an area of your business that directly affects your bottom line long term, which is your self worth and relationship with abundance. I've listed 2 of my top picks to get you started...
2. Related to the recommendation above, set a time, 60 min before you go to bed to put your phone on "Do not disturb", turn off all other electronics and get in some quiet reading or just 'me' time. There is a huge difference between being busy and being productive. Scrolling through social media, increasing your anxiety while fixating on all the "moneymakers" will NOT improve your health nor your business. The time you put into your business, is the time you deserve to put into yourself
3. Take a day off. Yes, a day where you do not work on anything outside of being with friends/family, watching your favorite movies or hiking a new trail and reconnecting with nature.
Now, the challenge?! For the next 2 days, follow steps 1&2 I just outlined. Then on the third day follow step 3.
At the end of each day write down how you felt internally and with regard to your business. I can almost guarantee you will feel more peaceful and confident in moving forward with your biz and your stress level.
